Hi Cappy, hows the weather way down in the south? Cappy, I know it is a little premature to pick a date that you would like to meet for a mini reunion in Franklin, NC.
I have asked Sandra Campbell Dothrow to locate a place that would allow roughly 25 to 30 of us to gather for lunch around the 22nd thur the 26th. If that is not good for you guys let me know. As you well know up here it is so popular for events and the color of the leaves that it gets hard to find a place, but we will not let you down. We that are up here are already talking about you guys coming up. We have many more classmates as well as others classes that would love to come and join our group up here. I went to my older brother Joel's 50th reunion this past July and found out that De De Teare Slappy and hus. George would like to meet with us. They now live in Dawsonville, Ga.
Hi Cappy! Thanks for the info on your trip to NC. October sounds so far off, but I guess it isn't really. Usually there are lots of other folks up this way in October, so it should be fun. I will talk with Jim Grantham and give him the dates. Actually, I believe he is in WPB right now for his brother's PBHS reunion.... Interesting that you and Pierre have been married twice. There might be enough of us to form a club!! Can you imagine the stories we could tell???
Hi Cappy! I'm glad you guys are happy with your move back to FL. Sounds like you really made the right decision. I will talk with Jim Grantham about an October get-together and find out who else he might be lining up. Would love to see you and Carolyn then.
Hi Cappy: Thanks for your comment, this is a great website. Looked at some of the photos here, quite interesting. My brother had 2 greys, when they visited us in the mountains, they left their claw marks in the stairs leading up to the guest bedroom. They were not happy going up or coming down. Enjoy the mountains, I miss them.....and the cool evenings.
That is awesome that your greyhound rescue dog is a therapy dog. Mine is white w a brown face and a heart on her side so we call her Gracie Corazon (means heart in Spanish) It took 6 hours just to teach Gracie just to go up stairs and several more to sit. Isn't it a joy to watch them run, but you are right, she is generally a couch potatoe. She is very sweet and very bonded to me, but very independant when she does not want to do what I ask. How did you get her certified? I would love to do it also.
