Carol....GREAT to hear from you. Sorry this is late...I have 2 emails one work and one home...I'm typically on the work addr everyday and only get to this one about once every couple of weeks. If I ever get to be "really" retired, that will change. I actually officially retired from Florida Power & Light 6 years ago but started my own business and have been doing project work ever since so my "daily email" is email@example.com What are you doing these days? Send me an update...would love to hear details!
Hi Carol, yes I did work on the 1959 year book I found out that Lee also lives in Charlotte We dated in our senior year and were in Choir together. I cam trying to get an address or phone number or email address. I appreciate your help. Thanks
The career has been fun. It's what I always wanted to do, so I am very fortunate. I can't believe we have been out of high school for 50 years.....I remember you from Northboro in 4th grade (Mrs. Hamilton). Interesting story: when I moved to a small town in South Carolina in 1974, one of the first people I met was a delightful little lady who reminded me of someone, though I wasn't sure who it was. During the conversation in her antique store, I learned that she was Rebecca Hamilton's sister. We were both surprised at the connection! Mrs. Hamilton lives on in memory as the teacher who insisted we put our heads on our desks to rest a couple of times a day. A rest for whom?? I suspect it was mostly for HER benefit - and don't blame her a bit. :-)
Hi Carol: As with you, I cannot remember you at PBHS or PBJC. I do seem to recall some of the antics I and my friend did at PBJC. My friend's name is Dick Kanzler. For a number of years we grew up in the same New England town. When I was 8 my family moved to Lake Park, Fl. Dick Kanzler and I continued on in college (after the two years at PBJC) receiving degrees in education. I became a teacher in Ma. and Dick returned to Palm Beach County to teach. By then, he had married a girl from Vermont, and a few years later, they had a daughter. I married a local girl from the area where I lived who was also a teacher. We now have two grown children and 4 grandchildren. If you have a picture you could put on this site, that would be great. Martyn
Hi Carol, I remember you in school, although we never met... how long does it take you to get to Franklin, Nc? I know it is quite a drive... we have a big PBHS, FHHS, ST.ANN's, Riviera Bch and Stuart HS mini reunion... it is normally on the 3rd Fri. in Oct... If it would be possible we would like to have you come and join us... last year we had over 60 classmates to come... most are from the 59-- 62 class to show... we are trying to get more from other classes as well as those from FHHS... many of us went to school with classmates from FHHS and then the split came... you can always email me at firstname.lastname@example.org My wife Sandra Smith grad. 1963
