I did have an Uncle Irving. But he was living in Detriot. he died in a bad wreck back when I was a kid. Probably 1959 or so. Don't recall him having a wife. There are a lot of Dursts in the Detroit/ Mt Clemons area. Back in those days Durst was a very rare name now we are everywhere! Thanks for asking.
Hope you're a lot warmer than we have been. 20 below windchill this morning. Yuck! I am so ready to move to some place warmer. Gary and I are going to Mexico the end of thsi month for a few weeks. can't wait. So glad you checked back with me. Keep in touch.
So great to hear from you. yes, it's been a loong time since our days in WPB. I've lived in Minnesota (brrrrr) since 1966. I moved up here to get married. My wife passed away 18 years ago from breast cancer. I have a son in Denver and a daughter in Chicago. Both have a son and a daughter too. I get to see them several times a year. I'm still quite busy. I have 2 businesses... one is DayTours & CreativEvents, we plan evnts, tours and transportation for conventions and corporations. I've owned that business since 1998. I started anither business in 2009 called Lily Bloom's Kitchen, named for my mom who passed away that year at age 98. We produce kosher, gluten free chocolate macaroons. Check us out at www.lilybloomskitchen.com. I came out of the closet 2 years after my wife died. It was always there but it took a long time to realize it. I have had a partner for the last 8 years. I'm on Facebook. Are you? Life keeps me very busy. I took up golf again last summer afte a 20 year hiatus. Even got a hole in one!!! Very cool. Gary (my partner) and I would love to retire to Puerto Vallarta one of these days but with a new business, it's not too soon. What have you been doing the last 50 years? OMG! That is amzing to ask that. 50 frigging years. Wow! Can't believe that we're this old. Anyway, I'm so glad you reconnected. Keep in touch.
Hi Jerry, It's me from your house next store, the sax, Central El. I always hoped you would come to the reunions. I remember coming to your house when we next door lived upstairs. The years have flown, yet we're still kickin' . I hope all is well with you. What have you done and what are you doing? I think I know you're in the Miami area. I 'm still working full time 1/2 teaching and the other half practicing until I get it right. I've been in Richmond, Va all this time after school and 2 years in the Army. Been married to the same gal since 1965 and have two sons, one in Phoenix and one in Richmond. Both married with kids. I wish you a very Happy and Healthy new year. Thanks for thinking of me, Jeff
