Hi, Pam. Thank you for the friendly welcome. Patrick often reminisces about his years at Lake Park, and RBJH, remembering all the friends he went to school with there. Your name is always included in those memories.
i didnt makeit to the reunion last year, so indeed u didnt see me:) i connected with a number of people on this site and that was pretty cool--i still dont do too well in large crowds and chickened out at the last minute re:attending the reunion. maybe another year. there are several people i would like to see again--esp those we went all the way thru school with.
hope all is well with you
may current passion is playing bridge--just went on a bridge cruise to central america out of tampa.
Pam, it was wonderful seeing you, as well. The disappointment in these affairs is that there are far too many people one is curious about, thus leaving little time for meaningful conversation. Let's stay in touch.
No, I do not recall Ruby Sands who would have grad in "60. I knew a Ruby Sands but she was older than I. I have been away from WPB area 45 years, so sort of lost contact with folks except immediate family.
Thanks for "friending"me. It is neat to find out what some of my PBHS classmates are up to. It has been so long since I have had contact with anyone. Have lived in L.A about 5 years (who would have thought), afater@ 35 years in N.J. My husband and I moved out after we retired to be near one of my daughters and her family. Unfortunately, he passed away about 2 1/2 years ago. I have one granddaughter (soon to be 7) and one on the way, by my daughter in DC and her husband. I was an MSW and a HR administrator. Congratulations on your sucess as a writer/lecturer. What is your main area of interest/focus? I won't be able to come to the reunion, as I will be in Greece at that time. My best.Deanna
Yes - and in the morning, my mother went out to the kitchen in just her nitegown and was "trapped" for over an hour when a couple of boys showed up. I think Wayne Clark was one of them. Mom was sooo mad at me.
Pam...........Have been trying for 10 days to leave you a comment.to no avail. Thanks for including me in your group of friends.
We were in WPB for a week visiting old friends......the Hyatts, Jack & Bev Roof, & Manning Willson. Our wives think we're nuts re-living the past. We don't. I loved the 50s, (and some of the 40s).
Bring me up to date on what's happening in your life. We talked briefly at the Grand 100 Year Anniversary.
Thanks for the birthday wish, Pam. Between this site (best idea ever) and Face Book, I have had more people remember my birthday this year than ever in my life. Do you remember when Judie Browne gave me a suprise birthday party (I think 15)? That was the only surprise party in my life. So much fun!!
hi pam--good to know we are both still alive and kicking--i havent been back to wpb in many a yr. my brother joe lives in stuart and has for some time. dont really have any reason to return--except maybe to reconnect on our 50th reunion!!
