I taught school for 2 years at PBHS. I taught PE, and started a girls gymnastics team. Got married and moved away for a while---then divorced. Worked as the Fitness Director of Mission Bay, in Boca for 10 yrs. I met my wonderful husband, and we have been together for 19 yrs. He is with IBM, and when the Boca site closed, we were forced to move to NC. While I was up there, I worked as a personal fitness trainer (as I am certified by Am College of Sports Medicine, as a Health and Fitness Instructor) Well we are back now and I am thrilled to be back near my Mom, Sister,Brother and most of all my 2 Sons. For all of those years, I kept up with my art. I now have prints of my paintings on several sites--- like this one-- Also I have a little business where I personalize some of the prints-- that is --

Hey Marilyn,
That's great..sounds like a terrific family. I also have an X. We had two boys and a girl. The boys are in high end cabinet making, my daughter is in Atlanta working in the state court system. I re-married and my wife had a six year old daughter. She is now 45 and lives in Tequesta. As mentioned we had identical twin girls in 1981 and they are here in Jacksonville. One is a medical assistant reaching for nursing the other is a physical therapist. Took me a little while to wind down, but I'm getting into this retirement thing. Great to hear from you.

Hi Marilyn,
How good to hear from you. I moved my family to Jacksonville in '83 after the birth of our twin girls in '81. I recently retired from AT&T after 38 yrs. Retirement is wonderful!!! Jupiter is such a beautiful location, I know you must be enjoying it. I did a lot of fishing from the old bridge years ago. Great hearing from you.

I would love to come to your art festival, only trouble is, I live in the north Ga. Mtns. Way to far to travel. We will be having our 50th HS reunion in June 11,12 and 13th. My sister Ann is in her own world, can't get her to call me back. Can't get her to budge. She lives in Canton,NC about 1.20 hrs. drive from here.

Hi Jim,
I knew I knew the name Grantham--but I was not sure you were related. I just moved back to WPB, and Sharon Leonard Diamantis 561 719 2720 has been very helpful to me. I remember Karen's name, but can't help you out, as to her whereabouts. Has Ann joined up yet? Good to hear from you. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn, you grad. with my younger sis. Ann Grantham. I am looking for some help locating a girl that grad. with you. Her school name was Karen Hinrichsen. I have exhausted all my trials, so I am hopeing you might help me in locating her. Who keeps up with your school class info. Would it be possible to get me linked with that individual? I need all the help I can get. We are having our 50th reunion this year and I know she has the answer to someone in my class of 1960.
Thanks for your help, James(Jimmie) Grantham 1960 personal email is

It was great to hear back from you...I'm glad you are back in WPB...I left there in 1977 and we've moved 6 times but have lived in Florida most of the 33 years I've been married. It's hard to get me to live in the cold weather...Roanoke, Virginia is the farthest north we've have lived. Both my parents and my older sister passed away at a young age so I only have 1 brother left and he is in WPB. I get there from time to time to visit him and other close friends from school. I'm sure they will post more information about the reunion on here throughout the coming months so keep visiting!! It would be neat to see you at the reunion.

It is great to see you on the site and hear from you.
I remember you as my teacher in PE. It has been along time but you still look great. I was a techer in Palm Beach County for 27 1/2 yrs before retiring to the North Ga mountains. I married a classmate from 1960 in 2002 and moved to Ellijay, Ga. Hope to see you at our reunion in 2010.

Hi, I hope you are doing well,
Yes you were my PE teacher...1968...I remember that Daryl O'Neil and I were best friends and we stayed in trouble because we hated those gymsuits, tennis, swimming and just about everything to do with PE. LOL I know that wasn't funny, but we marched every morning for 2 hours and every afternoon for 2 hours and the last thing we felt we needed was more exercise!!

I have been married to a wonderful man (that I met my junior year of HS) for 33 years and have 3 wonderful children (2 daughters and 1 son). My oldest daughter is the mother of my three beautiful grandchildren (that you can see pictures on this site) and my 2nd daughter is expecting her first in April!!! My son is attending FSU and finishing his college education while working at Publix Super Markets.

It's good to see that you are interested in what's going on with the last class of PBHS. Welcome!! Hope to see you next year at the 40th class reunion.

Hi Marilyn,
I guess calling you Miss Clendinging is a thing of the past. Hope life is treating you well. I am married to Steve Everman, whom I started dating in 1970. We live in the North Georgia mountains, love it here, slower pace of life, but that is what we want. We just got back from west Palm, last night, boy how it has changed there, and the traffic is something else. If we have to wait more than 30 seconds to get on the square in Blairsville, we think that is busy.
Take care,
Gretchen Doane Everman
