Another May's??

Pam, When I saw "May's" I thought of the one at 4 Points. Never knew there was one up North.

May's

I remember May's. My grandmother drove once a week all the way from Jupiter to shop there. She'd load up a cooler in the trunk of her car with ice, and that would keep the frozen foods cold enough until she got home and could stash them in her chest freezer. At that time, there weren't too many places to shop between Jupiter and the Northwood area, and certainly no supermarkets in Jupiter. Those were different times!

Palm Beach High 1934

How would I find out the names of my fathers classmates 1934 graduation.
Also, how could I find a yearbook from his high school days.

Does anyone remember Herb May? Owned May's Food Center Northwood Road, WPB. Grew up in WPB and went to Northboro elementary.

Looking For David "Booger" Wells

David and I were long time friends. He is from the class of '52. We attended the U of F together and drove to Anchorage, Alaska in the summer of '54. We came back to WPB and I returned to the U of F. That's when I lost track of him until '58. I was in Heidelberg, Germany and ran into David applying for an International Drivers License. He returned to the states and then I never saw or heard from him again. Any assistence would be greatly appreciated. You can respond to me here or my email… Continue

Howley's Restaurant

Merrie Lee and I went to breakfast at Howley's restaurant. I've heard that Howley's was a West Palm Beach historical institution since the 50's. I grew up in the Northend of West Palm Beach and never knew about Howley's. I talked to several Southend PBHS alumni and they just raved about Howley's and remembered going to the resturant with their family when they were growing up. I would like to report that I liked the restaurant very much. The food was… Continue

A chat function has been added to the network. This allows communication in "real time" meaning two or more members can chat using text if they are both "online" at the same time.

To chat with someone, click on the "Chat" menu item, or scroll to the bottom of the Main (home) page. To go online, click on the little buddy-shaped icon next to the green or red circle at the top right of the chat window. This is a toggle button. Click it once to go online. Click it again to go offline. Members… Continue
