Doris Cosman, age 69, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the Hospice House, Cape Coral, FL with her family at her bedside celebrating her life with a service. Mrs. Cosman was born on June 7, 1943, in Parkersburg, WV to the late George Scudder and Iva Womer Scudder. She relocated to Blue Ridge, GA after retiring as a floral designer for over 42 years in West Palm Beach, FL, and lived in Lake Worth, FL. Spent winters at her home in North Fort Myers, FL. She belonged to Palm Beach County Florist Association and the local chapter of Zonta International. Member of St. Luke's Church, Blue Ridge, GA and the Red Hats Society. Her hobbies were: flower gardening, sewing, collecting "Ladybug" items, and enjoying her friends at Senior Circle Club. She leaves behind her husband, James H. Cosman of Blue Ridge; sons, James S. D. Cosman and Edward J. Vockins, Jr.; daughters, Barbara A. Vockins and Liz Cisneros; grandchildren, Sarah Roman, Leif and Sierra Cisneros; and great-grandchildren: Charley and Lily Roman - all from Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were handled by the National Cremation Society of North Fort Myers, FL. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are directed to The Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908. Memorial services to be announced.
